The Spicy Mary & DEADPOOL 2

Hella-Bloody-Mary_Cool-2.jpg

With Father’s Day coming up and the recent release of the much anticipated Deadpool 2 sequel, we decided to spice things up and create a spicy version of a drink that we gravitate toward when the sun is shining: the Bloody Mary. Our version has a bit more kick – not unlike the vengeful Deadpool – so we decided to call this adaptation The Spicy Mary.

We teamed up with Hella Cocktail for the base of this cocktail and used their flavorful Spicy Bloody Mary Cocktail Mixer as a great way to pack flavor into the drink without having to buy six different ingredients. This Mixer has real horseradish, ghost pepper extract, lemon, black pepper, and 100% tomato juice, so it’s a no brainer. Not only that, but their Smoked Chili Bitters adds a nice smokiness. Thankfully, Hella Cocktail does the work for you – perfect for the dad who wants to relax on his special day.

The Spicy Mary adds a zesty flavor and pizazz, just as Deadpool does to the typical superhero movie. Don’t shy away from the fish sauce and pickle juice – these ingredients enhance the Mixer and give it just a bit of extra heat.

We’re big fans of Hella Cocktail’s craft cocktail mixers in particular, and we love that they use natural ingredients while maintaining the bold flavor that packs a punch.

Thank you so much to Hella Cocktail Co. for sponsoring this post! As always, all words and opinions are my own. This recipe is is only intended for those of legal drinking age (21+) and should not be shared or distributed to any underaged persons. Please enjoy responsibly!
